hey,
i have a serious problem! when my cuzins come over we will get on the trampoline a lot, but my dog luvs to jump too...... well, when we jump she'll growl, playfully, wanting to play! they take it seriously and hit her, i yell at them but they dont listen to me!!!!!! i tell them if they hit her i will hit them, but they do it anyhow......i do hit them like i said i would, even though they dont care!!!!! it makes me really mad when they hit her and i hear her whine like she does, what can i do? i take her to the back yard in the fence but i hate seein her in the cage wanting out..... what can i do????? help!!!!!!! its making me really mad!!!!!!!

Have you talked to your parents about your cousins behavior toward your pet?
Hurting a animal is wrong and your dog is safer in the backyard where they can't hurt her while they are there.
I stongly urge you to speak to your parents about your cousins behavior toward your dog so they can step in and take charge of the problem.

thankyou amy. i have told my mom and she said next time tell them to go home since they live right across the road, i also tell there mom, she says theyll stop but they wont! they also call my dog bad names! im really getting frustrated... the oldest out of the three,drew, is like my bro and they listen to him when he says to stop, but its a problem when hes not there with me......im goin to be done hurt there feelings.

my mom luvs my dog and shell say something my dads not so crazy over lady. but he'll still say something.

There is no excuse for hitting an animal. Tell your cousins parents what is happening. I would.

hey.i do tell there parents and they do sumthing bout it but they are boys and they are sneeky. they do it over and over! there not bad about hitting her the only time they do that is when were on the trampoline but there is a big problem on the calling her names thing! they call her bad names too.....ive already hit them till' they had bruises on there arms

Is the dog on the trampoline? I would suggest keeping the dog away while they are there. If you have talked to your parents and their parents and nothing is helping then keep the dog away from them.

hi guys,
last night my cuzs come over to see if i wanted to play outside b4 it got to dark, i told them 4 now on, when they come in my yard they have to respect my animals, and they said they did and i reminded them what they do to lady. they said they would show more respect to her.......well im glad now my dog can jump any time she wants!!!!!!! im so glad!!!!

i would suggest to your mom that she tell the cousins they are not allowed at your house to play on the trampoline until they learn how to behave! i do not allow my dogs to be aggressive to company but i also do not allow company to be aggressive to my pets....

as a parent your mom should be stepping in and getting this matter cleared up asap!

Is the trampoline yours ? If so tell your cousins and thier parents they are not allowed to use it untill they know how to treat your dog. After all it is the dogs home not thiers and I would not stand for anybody smacking my dogs no matter what age they are.

my mom has told them to not hit my dog, she ban them from the trampoline 1 time already. it help a good bit. ive talk to the boys and they agree to respect my dog a lot more than they do...... after they hit her they pet her as if they are sayin sorry, i just call her off and put her in the pen until they go home, the oldest, drew and i play with her alot on the trampoline and she never growls at us when we jump only if we bounce her too high or somthin...... i wonder why she does it to them, shes 1 year and 4 months old and ive never seen them do anything 4 her to growl at them 4, although sumtimes we will get in the yard and shove each other aroun d abit, just messin round though and if they push me lady growls at them and tries to bite them!!!!!!is it that shes seen them push me and shes being protective?i need answers!
