May I thank all involved in trying to resolve this problem. Touch wood it seems to have been ( for now) rectified :) I have checked several sections of Dogforum and no problems to report The Banners are no where to be seen wihich has made the problem go away :) So A suggestion till a permanant fix is provided will the Banners be not available to this site till the fix is in place?
Many thanks once again

Hi Dave, it is my understanding that the intermittent loading problems are being caused by a new adserver. No one on the mod staff has the ability to remove banners or modify servers. As the only people who would be able to remove the banners are the same techies who have been working on fixing the new adserver, we will have to be patient and let them find a long-term solution to the problem. They are working on it, that I can assure you. :)

I suspect that what will happen is that our techies will go in and make a change and then instead of saying definitively that it is fixed, will see if the problem crops up again and if not, declare it resolved. It can be risky saying you've got it fixed and then finding out you missed something. :)

Then they will login to dogforum and run their tests. It's been a problem on and off for about 1 month, but I have faith that normal service will be resumed :)

Dave I think it is the same person so the liasing should be very quick.
