This is an Inuit Sled Dog (Canadian Inuit Dog)

There's some Aussie Bulldog history.
I believe the Aussie Bulldog is something similar to the Olde English, as for purpose.

Canadian Inuit Dog. Historically, the breed was called Esquimau, which was then anglicized to Eskimo. Out of respect for the wishes of the Inuit people the term "Eskimo" has been dropped in favor of calling the breed the Inuit Sled Dog or Canadian Inuit Dog, the official designation by the government of Nunavut (Canada). The Canadian Inuit Dog is the mammal emblem of the Territory of Nunavut. This breed pulls sleds and before buying one be ready for high energy dogs for pets. Much like the Huskys and Malmutes.

I had an English Bulldog and she appeared smaller than the larger Aussie one. It is a combination really of about the same mix of Bull Mastiff and British cross. Here is a site with alot of how they same up with it, looks like my bulldog however not much difference, she was a brindle also.
