I HAVE A ****ZU,
ITS FUR Starting Falling out Today, ALMost ALL THE UNDERLAYER OF HER FUr is Gone and I can see Its skin. Its not completly bare, but it looks lIke shees starting to go bald.
The fur is getting really thin and Spread out. She's keeps hopping up onto my jacket which is one of those Poofy coats and spreads herself out on it.
Is She just Shedding because It seems quite Dramatic and Our other dog is hardly shedding at all.
Please Help Or send Me info you have any idea of whats going on please, I don't have the type of money to take her in to the vet if I don't have a slight clue on what the problem is, if there is one. Its winter out, but she doesn't seem to have the need to lay out and cool her skin so Im not sure if its really irritatted (hot u know the feelin) or she just thinks the coat works better.

sorry but you really need to get this dog to a vet! the hair can fall out for lots of reasons including stress! mange, allergies, and you really need to get to the bottom of it! your dog could be suffering from lots of stress and discomfort ! do you have a means tested vets ie like in england we have the pdsa for people on benefits? contact your closest dog charity they will be able to put yopu in touch with the relevant agency

I use our local pdsa they have excelent vets verry thourgh and ready with advice, please get your dog to the vet asap. for it will be sad if you leave it to late. I dont think anyone should take on the responsability of a dog if they are not prepared to look after it and taking them to the vet is a big part of being a responsable owner

It could be any number of things, could be mange . You can't know unless you head off to the vet or at the very least call and ask the vet for advice but I would take my dog in.

I know that they may not be the BEST vets, but I signed up for the Petsmart plan- $15 a month and any vet consult is free- you pay for the medicines and many tests are covered (at least once). I too was tired of paying $100 a visit to find out that there was nothing wrong with my dog!
