Hi Guys...

I have a 11 weeks old mini schnauzer puppy. I am currently feeding my puppy Nutro Max because that's what the breeder had him on when I got him at 8 weeks. He is now 11 weeks. And I have heard from multiple people that Nutro Max is not good, but I have heard that Ultra Max is better. So I planning to gradually switch my puppy's dog food to something else. I've heard a lot of good reviews and experiences about Eagle Pack on a different forum. Between Ultra Max and Eagle Pack...which would you recommend? I'm new to all this because this is my first puppy. Is anyone here feeding any of these products to their dogs? I wanted to know how everyone feels about the two products and what your opinions are.

Thanks!

Shi

Hmm I Dont know anything about Eagle pack, But I have heard.. word of mouth that they have changed there ingrediants, and it isnt like it used to be. I have mine on Natural Balance, But am recently switched to the Merrick brand food *I cant member the name of it * haha But it is closest to the raw there is *From what I have read* so.. I dunno.. :-/

I called my breeder up today for her advice and opinion on the issue. She has all her dogs on Nutro products but I also spoke to another mini schnauzer breeder and she recommended Solid Gold because Mini schnauzers are so prone to hyperlipidemia problems and Solid Gold has a lower fat content compared to Eagle Pack. So between Ultra Max and Solid Gold...which one is better for my dog? I just wanted more info before buying the food for my pup.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I read a lot of positive experiences dog owners had with Solid Gold so I am going to gradually switch him over to the puppy one.

Yes Solid Gold is excellent over the two you mentioned. I use it and it is packed fresh upon delivery date. Very good products they make.:D Good luck with your new puppy.
