I have two beagles. We got them from a breeder that breeds for hunting. Queenie is 4 years older than Black Jack, but they are sister and brother. Same mom and dad 4 years apart.
Ill get some Pics this weekend.

I have a 1/2 acre back yard fenced in that they live in. Squirrels don't stand a chance with Queenie. I taught her to climb trees. (no kidding) Its amazing to watch. I really didn't teach her. She was chasing this squirrel one day. It was a squirrel that she had been trying to catch for months. She chased it right up the tree about 10 feet. When she realized that she was up in the tree, she just let herself fall out. LOL
Ever since that day she loves to climb that tree. Black Jack on the other hand is dumb as a rock, and were pretty sure hes gay. LOL (once again I'm not kidding)
Hes has a female face, and is very dainty. wouldnt hurt a fly. He likes to play with frogs, and watch butterflys fly around the yard. He eats his dog food one chunk at a time, and looks like he will cry when you take it away from him.

Ill post pics soon.

That's cool Crash, it's good to see you using them for what they were bred for, here in Australia, there's LOTS of deer hunters using packs of beagles, to find and bay deer. Their hunting ability i think has been overlooked due to their popularity as a domestic pet.

I loved your description of Black jack and I think I am in love with boy~ He actually sounds like a very special dog.

I grew up with English Setters and pointers as my Dad, his 2 brotherrs, their dad, my 3 brothers and all my male cousins hunted quail. I was the only female hunter in the family.

Hahaha my dog Bear sounds JUST like that. I call him gay too. It's quite funny. Zoe, on the other hand, is just the opposite, and I think very guy-ish in nature. She's very tough, brave.
