There was a thread posted earlier today that was removed. It was asking you to take sides with Tammy Grimes the rescuer in this case. I found this article in the news....http://altoonamirror.com/News/articles.asp?articleID=4757
I wouldn't take sides until I hear the whole story.........

There Is Always Two Sides To Every Story....

I've been trying to view the page but it won't load for me.
In the UK a farming couple were sent to prison for cruelty to animals. There was a herd of cattle left on the farm. the next door neighbour (a farmer) couldn't feed the cattle - if he had he would have been responsible for the unhealthy, malnourished state of the herd.
the RSPCA were contacted, they sat on their hands for ages.
eventually the media told the story on the radio - within a few hours the rspca said they would take the cattle and deal with them.
Sometimes, the law is an ass!

Maybe I typed it wrong... try this one...
Just for the record... I AM NOT taking the owners side....I just have a
feeling there's more to this story than being told.....
Especially when in the deleted post...if you went to the "Dogs Deserve Better" web page...you are being asked for donations to help pay legal fees.......

Why was the other post deleted? Was there a reason given? If it was the "Dogs Deserve Better" website, then the other side of the story was deleted... >O.o<

The other thread asked for money for a cause, and that's simply not allowed. We simply don't have the manpower to check out every cause to determine if it's legitimate or not. In order to protect the membership from scame, no causes that involve money or other tangible support may be posted here. You all are, by all means, fully encouraged to research and support as many causes as you are able on your own.

IF I OWNED ANY DOG THAT OLD AND TIED IT TO A BOX WITH PURE DIRT AROUND IT AND U CAN SEE HOW LONG THAT POOR DOG LAID THERE FROM THE INDENTS OF THE DIRT. I WOULD BE THE WORSE PERSON AT HEART ON EARTH TO TIE ANY DOG TO A BOX, WHY HAVE DOGS AND DO THIS AS A WHITE SKINNY SHEPHERD WAS TIED TO A BOX NEXT TO THIS POOR DOG THAT COULD NOT GET UP.
SHE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO REMOVE IT TO SOMEPLACE BETTER THAN COLD WET DIRT TO LAY ON AS IT COULD NOT GET UP. I WATCHED THE VIDEO, SHE TRIED IT JUST MOVED ITS HEAD. I DOUBT IF IT IS EVEN THAT OLD, JUST NEGLECTED, HOW COULD PEOPLE BE INSIDE WHEN THE DOG IS OUT IN THE WEATHER ILL? IT IS PURE NEGLECT IN THE WORSE FORM AND THEY SHOULD BE IN JAIL, NOT TAMMY THAT RESCUED THIS POOR DOG.

With a dog that old they are going to be skinny if they have any health problems, they are going to have lot's of trouble walking if they have arthritis. I do beleive that this Tammy was in the wrong, not because she was trying to look after the dog, but because she went about it the wrong way. She should have gotten ahold of the humane society and let them take care of it. It was not her place to just walk in and take the dog, especially without her knowing all the facts on the dog itself. The humane society would have made the people get the dog vet checked, if it already wasn't before their looking into, and then after that knowledge steps should have been taken, not someone jumping to conclusions.
