Just got a 9 week old Black and Tan Miniature Pinscher wensday and was wondering what to feed him. The breeder that we got him from was saying that she had the pups on Puppy Chow. I still had some at the house from my 6 month old boxer that was stolen last week and we are feeding him that. Should I be feeding him something else? What about feeding canned foods, is that ok for Min Pins? Thanks for the help.

Honey do NOT feed canned food nor Purina puppy food to your new pet. Go to Pro Plan Chicken n Rice by Purine, top of their line, or Nutro Ultra puppy, Eagle Pack, Bil Jac frozen is great for pups and dogs, Solid Gold, Flint River Ranch, wet your dry kibble with warm water and stir some ten seconds to let gases escape. Give a good supplement, i use springtimeinc.com products as Fresh Factors for shedding, good skin and coats, Joint Health for healthy joints, ligaments, Bug Off for fleas n ticks. I give my dogs no chemicals at all. Less is best and healthiest.:D

Hello and welcome to Dogforum.org. :)
Sorry about your Boxer pup.
Get your pup on a good holistic pupy food. :) Some have been mentioned above already.
