I Have A 2 Year Old Cockapoo, He Has Just Started Marking His Territory On Table And Chair Legs. He Does This At Night When We Are Sleeping. He Jumps Down Off The Bed, Does His Deed Then Jumps Back Up On The Bed. It Took Me Forever To Figure This Out. He Even Acts Like He Can Not Jump On To The Bed During Wakeing Hours. He Gets Plenty Of Attention And He Never Goes To The Bathroom In The House.
Please Help Me!!!

Chuck him into the kitchen to sleep!
You let him sleep on the bed - he thinks he's as important as you are and can therefore do what he wants. Dogs are opportunists and he's seen a way to get to the top of the line.
Plenty of attention is fine as long as it's on your terms. Don't fuss him if he comes to you and demands it. Call him over and then reward him with a fuss when he gets to you.
You are boss in the household - but you need to communicate this to the dog. Don't give him anything (and I mean anything!) without earning it. Make him wait before you allow him to eat. Make him sit before a fuss etc etc.
Fuss is payment in dog terms. Don't pay him unless he does the work you want him to :)

Many times, if a dog is made to believe that he is the boss and not you, he'll begin marking in your house, like the alpha would. Perhaps you could gently re-establish yourself as the leader. Also, not letting him roam the house at night might help... >^^;<

Oh yes the King must be dethroned LOL I would start crating him at night. Give him a chew toy and if he starts to whine tell him Quiet and cover the crate with a sheet to give it more of a den feeling. Then in the morning put a leash on him so you can take him straight out the door so he can do his business. You need to take back your position of being the boss or he will continue to do as he pleases which could very well lead to him doing other naughty things as well as he continues to see what else he can get away with.

Crate at night. I loved nothing more than cuddling with my little shih tzu, but she turned into a marking terror. She's very alpha, even though she's a spayed female. Now we're back to potty training 101, NILIF to the utmost degree and the crate at night.
I learned my lesson the hard way.
