I take the dog with my skateboard. It tires him out a lot. Sometimes he pulls me around on flat ground like a sled dog. Anyone else do this?

i tie my dog to my skate board(which is mote control) and she runs ahead of me and pulls me. i help her out a lil by pressing go. she loves it and she gets the exercise she needs.

When going downhill my dog runs either beside me or ahead of me. On flat ground the dog will drag me around or I will pedal and he will run ahead of me. I try to keep the pulling to a minimum but if I am going very fast and he stops then he's going to be forced to keep running with me.

I do it to tire him out. He's a very high energy dog and when he's restless he starts destroying things and acting evil.

my dog is always in front of me. she wont stop runnin! i have to pull the leash back really quick and make her slow down, its not easy when your dog sees a squirel neither! she runs as fast as she can and she wont stop even when i pull on the leash or call her name. poor squirel must be scared to death! and my neighbors laugh at lady. sum do sum dont sum call her a ugly @$$ dog cause they dont have a dog them selves or they really hate her(?) i dunno.

This is why I dont suggest letting your dog pull you on skateboards, etc. They learn to pull. Unless they are great at walking on a leash first, where they walk beside you and do not pull. I would not encourage them to pull.

I would not recomend letting the dogs pull you arround on the skateboard, what would happen if something went wrong and the skateboard hit the dogs legs and injured them. I am all for letting the dogs run free and have fun but you cant be in full controll of your dog if your messing about play with them with a ball or blow bubbles for them to chase and I'm sure you will enjoy it too.

just a lil while ago, i got the skate board and when lady saw it she bagan rasing cane as if she were sayin "yay ,yay .yay .pull time!" what do you think bout that? maybe i can get a pic of her pulling me. well ,she dont pull me its kind of a she runs at the side and yaps ALOT thing! i think she enjoys runnin and when we walk shes pullin me down the road and shes always happy to get to see the neighbors dogs. sumtimes the neighbors and i will tie the dogs up 2gether and they pull us. its sooo fun! they seem to like it too. we only do this once a week maybe. why dont yall think we should let our dogs enjoy the pulling? if they dont want 2 then they wont do it. oh well, my dog enjoys the running and pulling ,thats if shes not bside me.:)

I skate with my dog because it's the only way I can keep up with him while he runs at full speed.

It's a good way to give him exercise and tire him out.

my dog. well shes a lil to strong 4 me to take her walking 4 a long time or on the other hand you can say i will die if i walked as much as she wanted too.

why dont some people think we should do this? i mean, our dogs like it...not harming them and its fun and they get exercise and....theres alot of things i see good about that. there are some things i would see why people dont want 4 that to happen, like what i think is what nancy said it can mess up and hit the dogs legs and harming them but how can this happen if the dog is at the side? well my dog runs at the side....

My dog has learned not to stop in front of the skateboard the hard way. All it did was bump into him, no damage done. Now he knows when he hears the wheels on the pavement to run and don't stop running until I stop.

if my dog hasnt been walked in a while, she could break yor arm on a walk(as in hasnt been walked in 3-4 days if im too busy) but when we get back into our regular walking/runs (1 a day for an hour) she is perfect unless she sees another dog,but if you handle her right, she settle right down.
