Help please - how to quote posts in replies?

I can't do quotes. I've tried and it's all gone loopy, can someone please explain (in very simple terms LOL) how to do it???:confused:

There is the quote button at the bottom of every post, you would click on that then the reply screen will come up with the entire post in " quote" brackets, you can edit the quote from there OR there is is a little button on the top of the reply screen ocne you are in it that is the fourth button from the left, on the top , second row---- you can use that to paste in quotes.
