We found this dog as a stray a few years ago and aren't positive as to what breed she is. We think chow golden retriever mix, but she is one of the most beautiful and sweetest dogs I have ever seen, and she's a monster at about 100 pounds. Any ideas?

More pictures I found because those others weren't the greatest.

I would also say a Chow Chow mix, Chow/Golden Retriever would be my guess as well. The color, coat, shape of her muzzle, and her straight front legs definitely say Chow Chow....
Thanks for sharing her photos, she's a cutie:)

I would say possibly Leonberger/Golden Retriever but that is only my opinion.
Her head and her rear andher tail make me think Leo, but no matter what mix she is she is a lovely girl amd you should be proud of her.

I think chow/shepherd/golden mix. 100lbs wouldn't be that far off for a golden or shep mix and chows aren't tiny, tiny dogs.

I would say leonberger or golden mixed with chow cos of her dark tongue.Al I have seen golden weighing more than a hundred so it's a possibility.

We thought chow because of the dark tongue as well. She might have some Leo in her. I don't know if I've ever seen a Leo in person, but I'm not a dog expert so who knows. None of the pictures I've found of Golden/Chow mixes look anything like her. I guess we'll never know for sure. Here's a picture my dad just sent me (she's at home with him while I'm away at school) of her with her new "toy".
