How do you tire a Wheaten ?

Hi there,

So, Chuy loves to go on walks, and occasionally we take a short run while we are out (I need to get in shape), but how can I get him better excercise and keep him safe ? There is a dog park near me, but he is still young (3 months) and 'come' is not quite in his vocabulary yet. We are working on that.

Could I just take him to an open area with a long rope and let him run, or is this going to instill some bad behaviour I will regret ?

I would appreciate any thoughts !

You don't!!!!
He is too young to take to public places so you could try to tire him,out by:
Teaching him to retrieve toys and starting on commands such
as sit,down and come,using a lot of treats.
Once,he has his shots,you'll be able to take him to the dog park and any other public places for socialization and take him to obedience training.
