Stickies will be using sparing on the site. As the site continues to develop, a FAQ section will be added for detailed information on specific topics. High quality posts such as the ones you mentioned would be perfect for the first round of FAQs.

I think it's clear that a FAQ section is needed, now. We have new members arriving all the time, repeating the same questions about SA, housebreaking, puppy behavior, choosing a dog, etc. Granted, if people would just search, they would find the threads, but a FAQ section would reduce the repetitive questions, and make it easier to find discussion of those topics.

I'm all for getting the FAQ section up and running, but I don't think they're quite ready to implement that yet. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
Searching and/or browsing the forums before asking questions is definitely a good idea, and I do wish that more people would use it. Unfortunately, especially when there is a problem that needs solving, people tend to post their issues quickly without doing some research first. A minute or two of searching/browsing could yield nearly instantaneous answers instead of having to wait for replies.

Think another one would be puppy training and crate training . As we get a lot of FAQ on these.

You all are welcome to start putting together FAQs on various subjects. They need to be very well written, have a professional appearance, and generally be top notch posts. Once the FAQ section is up and running, I'll move them to the appropriate area.
If anyone does decide to do this, please PM me. Thanks.

You may post your FAQs in this forum (http://www.dogforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=26). The forum is moderated, so all new threads will need to be approved for content and quality. Please feel free to post anything you would like to see in the future FAQ section in the FAQ forum, and we will review and approve them as quickly as possible. :thumb:
