Can mixed breeds compete in AKC agility? Or do they have to be purebred and registered?

Mixed breeds cannot compete in AKC agility.
But that is alright. There are some other WONDERFUL venues such as NADAC, CPE and UKC that do allow those gorgeous mixed breeds.

There is something called the ABC club, if you don't have a Border Collie and are interested in Agility. The "Absolutely no Border Collies!" club is for people wanted to compete in Agility, but can't compete at the speed level of the collies. So any dog other than Borders + Border mixes can join it, if I'm not mistaken. I don't know much about them other than that though, sorry.
