Brody Simply the Best

My heart broke yesterday. Letting go of beloved pets Is always devastating......but there is always one that truely was your top Dog. That was Brody...110 lbs of American Black Lab. A big dog with even a bigger heart.

Brody died too young, 7 years is all we had together. My promise to him upon his death was that I would do all I could to help prevent other dogs and their owners the pain and sorrow of this canine tick borne disease. Ehrlichiosis.......many vets don't test for it and the symptoms are many. If treated early, it can be cured. PLEASE..... if you and your dog enjoy the woods , city parks, or tree lined neighborhoods....learn about this disease and be aware, For the Love of Brody......

I know the pain of losing the special one too soon.
I have Alfie the 2yr old Lowchen now and I'm convinced he has Whiskey's mannerisms and quirks.... we have a very special bond.

So very sorry I feel for you in your grief we all know what its like to lose a beloved pet especially so young and when it could possibly have been avoided if spotted earlier .I have a Brodie too spelt differently from your Brody, he will be 12 years old in April next I feel your pain. Run free Brody at the Bridge you are and allways will be Simply the Best. Comforting cuddles to you.

Thanks from my heart for your kind words...they do help. Dog people are the best... In time I will find another to love with all my heart...right now my heart needs to mend. Brody will always be my hero....the only male in my long list of wonderful dogs.....sma
