What breed is my dog?

We think he's part basenji/kelpie/and-or cattle dog. what do you think?

he's real sweet and even though he's been socialized, he has a few problems with dogs...cattle dogs have that tendency...he also whines and rarely barks...leading me to think he's basenji and something else.

He looks like maybe some Dobe and cattle dog.?? Hard to guess these mixes

no dob. he doesnt have the right build n hes got prick ears...like a wolf. his now-owners arent generous with food with him...he's a lil on the thin side. he doesnt molt like the cattle dogs do...at least i think not.

I definately think he is some sort of kelpie/cattle dog cross. He looks gorgeous just the same!

i've been looking at some black and tan kelpies online and he fits perfect, but he holds his tail over his back, like a basenji would, or malamute. he's only about 21-25" at the withers...doesnt rreally bark...and doesnt play with toys. he is also VERY intent on killing squirrels...he actually just kills them and then wakls away. i thought he'd eat them, but no, his owner said he just kills them. oh, we're adopting him in march, he's staying with his owner until we move...then i'll be his momma. :D
