Tia's registered name is Miss Que T, she is a solid breed Stock paint horse. She si turning three this June. :) She was a very shy girl when we brought her home at 5 months of age. I worked very hard to get her trust and she has become one the the sweetest girls. :) She is going to make an excellent riding horse.

This is her at a couple of days old with her Mommy:

Tia is special, we had no intention of buying a filly when were looking, We wanted a stud colt which we did buy and later had to geld. He turned out to be cyptorchid and not worth of breeding and was sold. I saw Tia walking through the bunch of weanlings that were there and she was she and would not approach me like the others would. She would not make eye contact and would walk away if I got too close but she looked so pretty with her perfect socks and bay coat. We bought her to sell her on a quick turn around but it we fell in love with her and have kept her. Hubby love her so we wil proabably keep her for his second riding horse. :)

She looks like a horse now and not a youngster. :) She is such a dolly I love her to pieces. She is intelligent and calm. You tell her to go to her spot for her supper grain and she goes, she is never running around foolishly like some of my horses do; she walks carefully and confidently. She is at the bottom of the pecking order so that may have something to do with her demeanor. She is a just a sweet nice girl and I am hoping ( cross your fingers ) to do dressage with her, maybe, maybe maybe. We will see. :D

Thank you, very nice of you to say. :)

Tia is nicely bred so I can not take all the credit for how she looks. I am however very picky about how my horses are fed so she only gets the best feed, the best farrier care and Vet care. :) I spend hours reading and reading and reading. I have been with horses my whole life, I have worked with Thoroughbred race horses and been riding since I was just a youngster. The first horse I was ever on was a Clydesdale when I was a baby, my Dad put me on him much to my Mom's chagrin and that started a passion for horses that has never stopped.

All my animals are my kids. :)

You obviousely know what you are doing, well done,I have never known a time when horses were not in my life either,my sex education was watching the horses:D ,My daughter also loves them she is only 8 but has already got herself a job at a livery stable and riding school,I can remember the first horse my Dad put Kelly on she was 5months old and he put her on Billy his stallion,he is so gentle by the following year everytime he saw Kelly he would lay down we would sit her between his legs and she would play with his eyelashes,he is such a gentle giant, you should be really proud of your horses they are a credit to you
