Since many of the questions posed by newbies who need help are often the same (houstraining, recall, puppy biting) there are some threads in the FAQ that have detailed answers from several posters so there are a variety of opinions given. I have to say though that if I were a noob I might not look at the FAQ section. For example, I would look under "Puppies" for problems with puppy biting. And if someone does not know the term "recall" they won't think to do a search using it. Also people giving helpful advice will sometimes start new threads on topics covered in the FAQs so the info gets spread out.
I am not sure how best to direct newbies to the existing FAQ's. Maybe move it up above the introductions so it will be seen better?
Or move the FAQs up above the General Discussion in the "Dog Discussions" and show "child boards" with the topics? (I know they are not child boards but maybe they could be made into them?)
Anybody got any ideas? Sorry this is not really a suggestion, just an observation.
