I get tons of emails a day with a litter due March ten and mid summer and most of mine are from the for forum. I forget who said to stop them and how. Please guide me how to stop them from coming into my email. Thanks a bunch.

Sheplovr, Are the emails notifying you about replies to posts on the forum?
Or are they from other forum members?

Pat, go to your user CP and go into you user options you can stop them from there under your email options.

You will have to go in a delete your subscriptions and there is a link to do that as well on the left under user CP. :)
Hope that helps.

You can also keep your subscriptions but change them to the "no email notification type". Go to your User CP, list your subscriptions, check on all of the ones that you want to stop getting e-mail one, and change the type to the no email one (lower right corner). That way you can still keep up with your threads through the User CP, but you won't get flooded with emails.

sheplovr you are currently set up for "automatic instant email notification" subscription, which means that every time you post, the forum software thinks you want an email if and when someone replies. I might be able to change this for you if you wish.

Unfortunately, we can view the settings, but we cannot change them. It's a quick and easy change through the User CP, though. :thumb:

According to your profile, you're default is not to subscribe to threads. Please go to your User CP, click on List Subscriptions along the left side of the page, and look in the right hand column called notifications. What does it say there?

As Brunosmom pointed out, if youa re still subcribed to OLD threads you will continue to get emails for those until peple stop posting. You may need to go into each thread that is causing you to get emails and "unsubscribe".

Nothing is active... all the click boxes are open....
I don't even remember subscribing to any threads

Can you post a little of the email or which thread it is in reference to?

When you list your susbscriptions through your User CP, it should look something like this.

The "None" signifies that the thread is subscribed but there is no e-mail notification. Select messages for which you want to make changed by clicking the check boxes. Down in the lower right corner, you can delete the subscription or change the notification type.
