Oh my...what cool creatures! Never seen them before. 150 babies on my, you will have your hands full!

hehe yep luckily I only bred as I have homes for some and had to allow all eggs to hatch for a successful outcome. now where to put the rest haha

150 babies...crikey!!! What an unusual pet and sooooo big! What is their life span?

There life span is on average 5-6 years but can live up to 10 :)

KatzNK9 they are illegal to keep in some countries and I know America is one of those countries due to irresponsible owners letting them into the wild making them a pest as they are prolific breeders :)

Ah, well that explains why I've not seen them. With 150 offspring, I'd say that is about as prolific as it gets so I can see how they could become a real problem in the wrong spot & fast.

Do you happen to know if they are similar to the huge snails you sometimes see in the BC rainforests here in Canada?

I'm not sure about the ones in canada im pretty sure they were banned from there too

so do you have them like pets?
How big are they? It's hard to truly tell in the picture...

hehe yeah they are pets my eldest son casey loves them he is 7 in june so they are his but i secretly love them more :D they are roughly the size of my hand from wrist to finger tips :D

My dog likes snails and the snails like him sometimes they lodge onto his paws and won't let go!

I would love some of your eggs Parker,but as you know Paul says he has enough to do looking after us lot never mind snails:) Dont know why but I expected their eggs to be white

hehe mel they were white they have now hatched, thats their see through shells :D
