How to Multi Quote Members Posts in a Thread
Multi Quoting is a great feature available on the forum...perhaps you weren't aware of it and would like to learn how to use it?
Well, you have come to the right place :thumb:
What it does: In a thread it allows you to reply to as many members posts as you want...by "quoting" each and putting them into 1 post. So you no longer have to quote and reply to each members post with a separate post of your own. Thus making it easier for you to construct a reply in one quick step vs. making many repetitive steps...and it makes it easier for other members to follow the posts and replies within the thread. :)
How to Multi Quote :
When you see a post you would like to reply to, click on the icon that looks like this http://www.dogforum.org/images/sol/buttons/multiquote_off.gif (http://www.dogforum.org/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=46547) next to the http://www.dogforum.org/images/sol/buttons/quote.gif (http://www.dogforum.org/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=46547) icon for that post.
It will then change to this http://www.dogforum.org/images/sol/buttons/multiquote_on.gif (http://www.dogforum.org/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=46547) to confirm that you ADDED this members post in your reply. That way you can reply to as many members posts as you want, all in ONE post. Just click to add...if you change your mind after you clicked on the icon, click it again and it goes back to this http://www.dogforum.org/images/sol/buttons/multiquote_off.gif (http://www.dogforum.org/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=46547).
Then when your ready to start your Post click http://www.dogforum.org/images/sol/buttons/reply.gif (http://www.dogforum.org/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=51618)
which is always located at the bottom of the page on the left.
Question:
What if there is more than one page in the thread, can I go to the following pages and continue to multi-quote posts?
Answer: Yes, simply click on the page number, and once it has completely loaded, follow the same procedure described above in How to Multi Quote.
