Post some pics when you can:) Sorry, I've never had a dog with a disability...can't really offer you any advice on the subject. Well, then again, maybe I can, what kind of advice are you looking for? :)

My best advice to keep him happy is to give him all the exercise & training he can handle with his disability. Chances are that he thinks that dogs with 4 legs have an extra one so I wouldn't worry too much that he thinks he's being pressured by other dogs unless he's being rough-housed too much by them.

I agree, providing him with love and comfort, as well as mental and physical exercise is the best thing you can do for him. Your are very kind to take care of a dog with a disability :) Also, even though he has only 3 legs, he can still play/interact with other dogs, just let him play with the ones that aren't too rough ;)

I have taken in several disabled rescues.
check out http://www.petswithdisabilities.org/adopt.html and
http://www.handicappedpets.com/
both have lots of resources.

We have had a blind dog, a dog in a wheel chair and a tree legged dog.\
All three were amazing. The tree legged dog and the blind dog diddn't even know they were disabled. We always took them to the dog park and they were all social and played well with the other dogs.

Sparky the wheelchair dog, had been in an accident and had to have his hind legs amputated. He had a hard time adapting to the wheelchair. When we took him to the park some dogs were afraid of him. He found a good home in a senior center. lots of love and petting.

My best advice is treat him like a normal dog and he will fit in.
best wishes.
