That is your reputation point score/rating. A forum member, if they choose to, can reward you 1 point for your post, if they found it to be particularly good. :)

For example, if you gave some good advice in a thread or have created a thread with an interesting topic, a member will most likely reward you with 1 point. All new members are given a default rating of 10. :)
