My gerbils now chewed through 2 cages, and I don't have the money to buy it a tank and all the equipment it would need.

Therefore, anyone offering a good home can have her. You would need to buy in advance:
a large tank
exersize wheel
waterbottle with hinge
various toys

I will include food and nesting material for up to 2 weeks

You may PM me on here. I'm offering this only to CT and NY because I don't feel comfortable shipping animals.

The gerbils female and about 3/4 year old. It was hand raised and social although i don't know how it does with other gerbils.

I would also prefer no small children and owners with previous expirience. I will also be putting an ad in the local paper, and if no potential adopters arrive, off to petco.

Me too. In CT they range from 20-40 dollars for plastic ones. the metal are about 30, but they get the nesting material everywhere. Glass tanks cost 40+ and I don't have that kind of money.

=P I might want it but my cats would too! Mozart would have those things in her stomach before she even knew what they were! Best of luck in finding a home. ;)

you can buy a 10 gallon glass tank from walmart for 10 dollars, petsmart has them for about 9 and the screen covers are about 10-15 dollars so you should not be spending as much as you think for a glass one lol if you lived closer i have a 10 gallon i dont use lol
