Longer idle time without being logged out please

Hi.. I wish for a little longer idle time without getting logged out..
If that would be possible... cause I write sometimes LONG posts and then I get logged out and loose everything. Or I start writing, something happens on my job, I go to that page for 5-7 min. Come back here, continue writing and then I am logged out.. :( It is just frustrating.. english is my second language and I am not the best at it.. if it would be possible I would be the most gratefull........ Pretty please..

When you login ... check the box under your password that says "Remember me" ... I don't have to login when I come & go from the forum.

I did try that but for some reason it dissapeard all of a sudden. ahh well.. I will have to learn to copy my posts before I click submit. I am just senile :o

I wonder if mods can help with this problem. I stay signed in all the time & have never timed-out in a post. When I return to the forum, I'm already signed in & it just stays that way.

I've never timed out either and I often leave the computer for an hour or more while I'm in the middle of writing a response.

I think we can, but it means going in and changing settings in the user's CP. Really if at all possible it is better if the member does it. KatznK9's suggestion to check the box that says "remember me" should fix it once and for all.

I leave my computer on all the time. I have never timed out, but then again, the remember me box is checked. That must be it. I turn my computer on in the morning, it sits here on this desk, leave for housework, dog care or phone calls etc.. Never been logged out, unless I log out of the site on purpose or turn the computer off..

I want longer time or it to automaticly stay logged in.
If I write a long respone and push post quick reply or whatever it is,
I get the message sorry your not logged in. (doesnt say that but means it)
I hate it always kicking me out for werid odd reasons like that, its annoying :(
