Chat question.

Why does it show people in chat that are not actually there ? Is this becasue they didn't actually sign out or is it a hic-up with the system ?

I'm not sure...If noticed that also.

I might add, people are hardly in the chat room:p

I think it is because they never exited the chat...some members aren't aware that there is way to "exit" out.
I've seen members in the list too.
I was in their one day with PomeranianCrazy...and she kept exiting and re-entering the chat...but SHE wasn't actually doing it...the chat room was acting up.

Unfortunately, if members do not log out of chat, it will show them as being in chat until the session expires. Unfortunately there is not a quick fix to this, from a technical perspective, at this time.

Sandy I do not even know how to find this sites chat. Got in one night and could not get out.??? The other board u know I was in alot with GS. I am waiting to whelp a first time 3 yrs old litter, Gillion to Inko both first timers, kinda anxious for a difference than Gino.

The chat is under quick links, then you'll see flash chat, the last one to click under quick links:)

I think more people need to get on there! It's more exciting:cool:

Isn't there a mode in chat whre you can be as (brb) ? could that have something to do with being invisible on the main screen?

At the bottom lefthand corner of the chat window there is a box there you can click on and you can put BRB or AWAY and a few other beside your name.

Are you supposed to be able to see it next to your name, or do only other people see it next to your name? Because when I click brb next to my name I can't see it. :confused:

When I click it I can see it so I am not sure why you can't.

Doh! *slaps head* Now I feel stupid. Nevermind, I can see my name, I just had the bar over too far that I could see my name but not the sign next to it. I expected the sign to completely replace the name.
