Avatars and pictures not showing.

This is not a big problem, but I'm wondering if it is just my computer doing this: Quite often the avatars and pictures in the posts don't appear.

I know some of the pictures are through links, but I'm referring to the ones that should show in the posts. Sometimes they show, sometimes they don't.
This happening to anyone else?

I can see yours and everyone elses. Perhaps it is your setting on your computer ?

I can see them too ... but it is possible that people who use sites like photobucket, fotki, etc are not showing up occasionally during site maintenance times. If it is all the time, it might be your settings.

Go to User CP ... Edit Options ... make sure you have those options checked.

Is this a recent problem (as in the last 2-3 days), or does it go back further than that?

Taeric: I think it is recent...I don't remember noticing it before.

KatzNK9: It is only sometimes...I can see pictures during a log-on and then maybe switch threads or go back to the same thread and the pictures are not showing.

If it is intermittent, it is probably the glitch ... hope it straightens out for you soon.

One of our sister sites has been absolutely hammered with traffic in the last few days, so if it indeed is a recent occurrence, that may be a spillover from that situation (I have no idea how the servers are set up, so it may just be a coincidence).

That issue has pretty much been addressed, so if you see this again in the future, please let us know.

Magic! All my options for showing avatars and pictures were unchecked(gremlins), so I rechecked them and now I can see everyone's cute doggies.
I missed, that.
