Yesterday when we went to go buy lots of dog food, I walked by a bin and saw lots of black and white bunnies! Oh how my heart melted! :wubsmiley: The first thing my hubby says is "No". But Why, I said? He said we already have enough animals! I told him since I can't have a bunny, then I want 6 more doggies! LOL ;) He said okay, instead of just 6 more dogs, I'll get you a big farm with horses, pigs, and lots of goats too while you're at it.
All I could say was, "Thats not even funny"!
Oh how I love animals, I just can't get enough! But I know theres a limit to how much you can care for! But in my heart I know we have the time, room, and money for just a few more. Well thats my heart, but my hubby thinks differently!:sad-smiley-002:
P.S- To the bunnies "Here I COME"! LOL

LOL, I wish you could get the one running around my neighborhood. The house 2 doors down has a little dog & a rabbit that get out about every other day. Wherever that dog goes, so goes the bunny.
They're often out in the street so they need a better home ... shall I fetch him for you & send him your way? Some photos from awhile back & some from the other day. It is pretty comical to watch that bunny chase ... she's never far behind.

LOL, just remember ... you have to watch what you wish for. I see him all too often. Looks like he's a bit of a dog lover too.

Katz, that dog and bunny is about the most precious thing I have ever seen! I am completely unfamiliar with bunnies as pets so I wasn't even aware that they can be allowed to have free roam of the house. Pretty cool!
And PomeranianCrazy, if you are serious about a bunny, wait until after Easter when the shelters get them in after people give them up.

Ohhhhh That is a gorgeous bunny so clean looiking and happy content. I had one with the floppy ears years back and called it FLOPPY, so tame, had more horses then rather than dogs I have now. Shepherds do not like little things, but I love bunnies, great pets. When very young and prengant bought my first child a pure white one and house broke it. So long ago we called it hoppy. It was so tame, forget what happened to it tooooo long ago to remember.:D

I honestly don't know anything about the story of the bunny & the dog. They live 2 houses away from me but I've never seen anybody coming or going from the house. I try my best to mind my own business & steer clear from most neighbors.
I don't know how they get out or why but it is way to dangerous for them to be running loose. Although we don't have a busy street, it is still very dangerous for them to be running loose & in the street. They have a fenced yard so I'm assuming the escapes are accidental & it runs in cycles. I'll see them every couple of days & then not again for a month or two & back to the cycle of every other day or so.
I've caught bunny digging in my flowerbeds so I'm betting he's the main culprit in the escape tactics.
They're cute and fun to watch but I do wish their owner would take better care of them. The dog is always a matted mess & he could use a good shave down.
It is funniest when the dog gets about 15 yards in front of the bunny who often stops to munch on plants. When bunny realizes the dog is ahead he runs/hops his little legs off to catch up. That's one fast little bunny.
Ozzy thinks that is the funniest looking cat he's ever seen & wonders what all that hopping is about. I haven't let him get close but he sure wants to see what that's all about.
