Ludmilla My Golden Girl has gone to the Bridge

I had to have my darling girl PTS . A lot of you will know that things have not been good foor her of late and we all know when the time is right for them and this was it for my lovely girl. I am so sad but feel I have done the right thing and let her go while she still had dignity.

Run free at the Bridge my Darling Girl I'll never forget you.

Oh No Borzi did not know one was ill. I am so sad for you honey. Well, we must remember they are pain free now and run with doggie angels also. Try to relax and we never forget but we do heal in time. I still have my English Bulldogs ashes on my mantel. I pay her every day and say Hello Brita, you were the best girl. God Bless You.

Thank you Rachel I am more up to answering the posts tonight than I was last night so hope you all undertsand, that though I have not personally replied I am grateful to each of you for your posts which have brought some comfort at this time.

Borzoimum Thankl you so much I too believe it and even more so since I have a friend you recently took an anuerysm and was very ill and she told me that when she was at her very lowest and they thought she was going to die she saw her two beloved borzois at the bridge and you know how borzois blow at you well my friend said she felt their breath on her face and then their tails brushed her as they ran in the meadows and that they looked so happy and young again. She says it was not in the least frightening and such a nice feeling to meet up with her boys again. She is now on the road to recovery albeit very slowly, but she says she will never forget this experience.

Im so sorry about your loss i know exactly what your goign thru i just had to put my 16year old chihiuahua down this monday it was the saddest day of my life im so sad i cant stop crying still 16 years is a long time to have a dog no matter how long they are with us they fill our hearts with joy only my heart is aching im so sorry for your loss its only been a week and knowing that your dog is in doggie heaven with my doggie perhaps they are running free together m my doggie had heart failure and when i put im down there was a moment of peace at that moment i knew he was no longer suffering and i felt the calm in the room . my heart goes out to you becaue i too am so so sad im praying for the day to come where i can not feel so sad, i miss he little paws toe nail clicking onthe floor i miss everythign about him i went to give him some spagettie yestrdaysaving an extra dish for him then i started to cry i forgot he isnt here with me . this forum has helped me the people are all so nice and supportive.we will get thru this together you can write me when ever you want we will go thru this together. he followed me from room to room day after day. but now to know that your angel is with im makes me feel he has freinds there my moms chihuiahua died jan 1 this year so now they are all together. god bless Lisa

I do know that we made the best decision for them they are now at peace and free from all suffering and pain. just knowing i was with him in his last breath puts my heart and mind at ease we should be proud that we made that hard decision of what is best for them. and i know in my heart i did the best thing i did for him . i know deep down as much as i miss him he is now resting . and happy . i never thought this day would come ever. but at least we did the best we could for them right. that makes me feel better. it was our last thing we could do.. bless them all love lisa

Like you say it only tales a little thing to remind you I wait for her claws scrapping on the wooden floor and when it does not come I remember she is gone. so sorry for the loss , again it has been two week my 16 yr old chihuhua has gone to rainbow bridge i can honestly say today is the first day it isnt as bad but the pain never stops especially on sundays when we would sit on the porch to gether. but i look at him and say they had a good life . with loving owners like us.

Hi Lisa I know exactly what you mean and I send you comforting cuddles . The pain may never go away, but eventually I hope we will ony have happy memories at least they are together and they also have my old boy Sam aperfect gentleman and his beloved best friend my little Dachie Dream they went to the bridge 5 years ago within six weeks of each other and I am sure they will look after them.
