Zena gets a bucket brain again

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e76/dabellypuppydogs/BucketBrainPhoto004.jpgZena was recently desexed and then had a problem with the wound which was leaking she was put on antibotic's Noroclav 250mgs, and that cleared up the leak and any infection that might have been starting.And now another 2weeks later after her first lot of antibotic;s,,I had to take her back to the vets because where the stitches had stealed before and been removed,well it opened up again.She's on another course of antibotic's Noroclav 250mgs again and hopefully this along with her bucket on her head<---preventing her from licking or scratching her wound will help to clear up that desexing scar.if not Im in for another operation for her.:(

How are your legs? LOL I hate it when mine have a bucket on, I end up with bruises on the back of my legs where they crash into me with it :)

This is now the 3rd bucket Zena has worn since being desexed ---->1stMay2006,She's worn a blue one.the original 'I have to wear a bucket on my head' one and then there was a green coloured one.it broke within one day and now she has a pretty yellow coloured bucket.:p

My gosh, that is a REAL bucket. I thought we were calling those cones you get at the vet's a bucket. I have heard them called cones, lamp shades, satilite dishes. I sure hope she gets all healed soon.

I will begin by telling you the cost of Zena's desexing, (I am talking Australian dollars here so some of you will have to convert the currency)
---$79 desexing,the amount was more but I was subsidized.I paid $79

---$19.30..Medication=Doxycycline 100 ( to help clear her tear ducts)

Then 2or so weeks after desexing her wound started building up fluid spots,I took her back to the vet and the vet squiz'd this fluid out and told me thats what I had to continue to do,and she put her on Noroclav 250mg tablets.to help clear up any infection if there be any.That cost another------------>

Then 1stJune2006,shes back to the vet with the wound now opened up and seaping a fluid,Im given a cleaning fluid to obviously clean the wound,and more antibotic's,and told to bring her back in a weeks time and hopefully the antibotics will help it to heal,without surgury.Ive since been on the phone to the vets about cleaning the wound,because each day I clean it it removes the sticky substance that seals the wound,she tells me she knew it would for a few days and then hoped that the antibotic's would have taken over to seal the wound...its only been 4days since ive been back to the vet with this last charge of more antibotic's,that cost another------------------------>

Now the reason for her Real bucket,the above had cost me a bit and I dont have alot of money at all.So Zena got a home made Elizabethan collar,thats what the Vets use Elizabethan collars,the vet could have rented me out one at a cost of...NO stop..Zena sorry youve got a $1.95 Real Bucket,awwwwwww she looks cute but,Ive tried to take some pic's of her wound..but my camera is not working real well ,Id love for you to see her in her new pretty yellow bucket it matches her fur,well a bit..hahahhaha:D
