I thought I would share some of my own research for people choosing a Pomeranian for there home.
;) Infomation on the Pomeranian Breed;)

Pomeranian is a breed of dog in the Spitz family. The Pomeranians average size is between 3 to 7lbs but trust me they can get bigger than that. The head is a wedge-shaped, making it somewhat foxy in appearance. Also the tail is turned over the back and carried flat.
The Poms coat is a two coated, with a undercoat and a top coat. The first coat is soft, thick, and fluffy and the other coat is straight & coarse. The undercoat is shed once a year by males, and by females when they are in season, after delivering a litter, and during times of stress.
The Pomeranian comes in a variety of colors
Black, black/tan, blue, blue/tan, chocolate, chocolate/tan, cream, cream sable, orange, orange sable, red, sable, & red sable.
Also Poms with 2 or more colors (usually mostly white, with others) are called "Parti-color". Then you have the "alternative" colors
Beaver, brindle, chocolate sable, white, and wolf sable.
Temperament in a Pom is very active. Also they are intelligent, courageous, and a loyal companion. Thats what I love about them!
The Poms can easily adapt to life in the city, and is an excellent dog for country living with its strong hunting instincts from its wild ancestors. I know my Poms sure do love the country side.
Pomeranians are generally a healthy, hardy, and long-lived breed. Poms often live 12–16 years. Some very healthy Poms have even been known to live 18-20 years.
For exercise, as long as there is a small yard for the Pomeranian to play in, they will get enough exercise on their own. But they can walk a longer distance without becoming over-tired and would greatly enjoy a long walk
Here's some information on the Pomeranian Breed. If you are considering this breed and you need more information, I would be more than happy to share somemore of my knowledge on this breed. Thanks PomeranianCrazy/Brittany:drunken:

Thank you, Pomeranian Crazy for this terrific information! I enjoy your photos so much! I wanted to learn more about the Pomeranian, and I was going to post that as a question but now I won't! Could you give your dogs a pet for me, please.

Good information, thanks. What type of health screenings on the parents should someone who wishes to purchase a pom puppy expect the breeders to have done?

Great post! :thumb:
Before I got Zircon my favorite dog in the world belonged to some good friends and is a Pom named Jasper so I have a soft spot in my heart for Pomeranians. And I am always a sucker for a curly tail!
