hi guys and girls

i look after my friends dog from time to time and i wanted some thing to keep him busy why i was insted of just sitting about :(

so i picked up a swing seet of one of my naybers and made this

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v424/maxlee/la%20dog/chad008.jpg

bit of rope and a stick and he was playing about for 4 hours the othere day if my friend wasn't moving and taking dog with him i would use that bungy rope as when he lets go it would move away from him again insted of stopping
(think it gets boring for him)

so if you are ever down the tip or have a old rusty swing seat or a swing your kids dont use might be worth a go wouldn't cost no more the £15 max to bild

Very creative idea! Looks like lots of fun! Just make sure there's nothing the dog can get hung up on while playing.

He sure likes it! The ideal toy...does not need a human on the other end.

keeps him happy he is sleeping off 3 hours of play time why i wright this  (lazy dog lol )

what ever thing he desides to play with i move in to the midle the rope dosen't reach to the legs so he cant bump in to any thing.
playing on the concreat weres down his claws to :D only thing i have to do is move the frame from time to time as he drags it about from time to time lol.

does hanging off things do him any harm?? as he dose that from time to time.
i always thought if he didn't like it he wouldn't do it :o

is it true dogs can't see black to well?. i was going to repaint the frame black if so, would make it look like the stick was just hanging there.

i find putting a new stick with bark on it gives him more intrest furn tree
(i think its what they are) brances seam to be the ones he dont give them up easy must have a taste or some thing

golden he is a bull terrier a very very very very soft one lol

I wouldn't think reasonable play like that would do any harm but if he becomes obsessed with it, I might think otherwise & try to discourage it.

you have to say the magic words "get it chad go on get it" lol for him to start he runs up to it but you have to start things off so not 100% no human in put

bit of topic

found out he likes foot balls today as well kicked one to him and he bit it and pop  dam them teath so good way to get round that is to pump the ball up so it has no give in it and he cant pop it :D his owner is going to think i have beeen tieing him to my car and drive round the block
