:mad: A-1 Total Control in Mantua, N.J. is a very bad place to take your dog to. the demo before the class is all that works, the rest of the training not only doesn't work, but makes things worse. it did get worse for me and my dog, because by the end of the training he was completely out of control, that he specificaly showed on the A-1 Total Control training ground. the training can only work with people that are very strong because it's made of pure force and fear toward powerfull breeds. his idea of handling an agressive dog is to choke it untill it passes out and when it comes to, the owner must punch it in the head. he actualy got people to do it to their dogs, which i find sick. do not attempt this kind of thing with your dog or any other animal, because it's very violent and stupid. i found that the dog whisperer from discovery is right about taking a dog for a walk and be consistant about do's and don'ts. just a walk alone helped my out of control German Shepard to calm down and just within a week I got him to listen to me without saying twice. Also don't forget about selfcontrol, because the dog will not listen to unstable leader.

i want to get my money back, but i signed a paper of no refund, even though i do have a witness i think that paper will bite me in the end. i didn't know that i was getting screwed.:(

i forgot to say that it's not a trainer who does that to a dog, but it's what he tells the owner to do or put the dog to sleep if the owner doesn't want to end up with a law suit. he was telling them that it was the only way to keep the dog from biting his owner or other people.

That's animal ABUSE. Report him to the ASPCA/AC/HS ASAP. A dog is going to end up dying from this, many are getting hurt, and someone is going to get bitten. This is the kind of stuff that makes dogs turn on their owners.

Wow..that is unbelievable! How can anyone possibly think ABUSING a dog will make it behave?! That will only make it worse! And it's heartless. I'm so sickened by this :mad: Please, please report this.
