Hi All

I have a bullmastiff named Dozer but we are sure he is a mixed breed.

Any ideas what he may be mixed with?

This photo was taken when he was about 6 months old, he is a year older now. and weighs around 75 kg

Almost looks like American Bulldog/Boxer mix to me. I'm not sure if I see any bullmastiff.

75 kgs (for the metrically impared ;) ) is 165 lbs. Tha's an AWFUL big boxer and even big for an American Bully... And ol' Dozer here is not even two yet. But the markings, right? He DOES look Boxer-y.

I'd say he's Mastiff alright... what he's mixed up with is hard to say... Could be a little more mastiff than bully in him, y'know? An English in the woodpile somewhere? Or a St Bernard, sure, I'd go along with that one.

Has he got longish legs? Maybe Dane.

Thank you for that! Okay, I take back what I said. The markings on the face do resemble a boxer, and the markings/shape of the body remind me of an American Bulldog. Maybe he's an all around heinz 57 hehe. But for that size-I can see where you get mastiff. He dosen't look that big in the picture, hehe.

I think thas a puppy pic we're lookin' at up there.

Maybe he's a 'sooner'. That's what my Granddad used to call mixed breeds.

"Sooner sit than stand, sooner lay down than either." he'd say.

He'd also make some rather off-colour 'sooner' jokes... lol... maybe that should be another thread.

"My grandad used to say...."

We could put it next to the faq.

If he is tall, I'd say Great Dane.

I would guess Great Dane also. What a handsome boy.
