i recieved this email just from a lady who is in touch with the shelter where
wishbone was originally taken..yay yay yay:D
Hi Dawn~
Thank you for your concern about Wishbone. He was adopted back by the original family that surrendered him.
I spoke to Katie at the shelter and asked her to please contact me should the family return him again because
I had families and rescues who would take him. As it turns out, he was not brought back again,
so we are hoping that he is happy and safe with his family. Thank you again for your concern.!

I do hope he is safely back home and that the family now has a real commitment to care for Wishbone. It is a mystery to me how anyone could turn over their family pet to a shelter.

Yay for Wishbone! I'm confused though... So the family never returned him in the first place? Or the family turned him in and then came back for him?

the family lost their dog, they found him at this shelter,
they payed to have him neutered, then collected him,
then changed their minds and handed him back to the shelter..
*takes deep breath*
then changed their minds again and went back for him..& took him home.

Hmmm ... I'm not sure people who would even consider leaving him deserve a second chance ... but I am glad to hear he's back out of the shelter. I do hope they are commited to giving this dog a loving forever home now.

I agree. I am happy that the dog wasn't killed, but seriously, what is wrong with these people?! How could you even consider giving your dog up, let alone go get it, surrender it, then go back again!! Hopefully these people did some serious contemplating as to whether or not they are dedicated to this animal.
