Does anyone know of any good boston terrier breeders? My grandmother died a few weeks ago and my grandfather has been very lonely and loves bostons since thats what they always had as pets and eventually my family wants to get him one... or even another breed that isnt to hyper and would love the country and would be easy to train to be without a leash and potty train... thanks

Do you think your grandfather would want a puppy? Or an adult dog? If he gets an adult dog that is already trained he could save himself the hassle of potty training and all that good stuff (unless it is fun or therapeutic for him) and have a buddy to keep him company.

Well I looked at adults online and it depends I guess on the dog... it would need to be trained and not run away while outside with him( he has a big yard way out in the country with amish all around and as neighbors). It would have to be friendly, and I wouldnt want it to old because I dont want it to die anytime soon that might sound mean but if we rescued a 10 yr old dog and it dies sometime soon it would really hurt him even more. My uncle lives with him so he would help him train it im sure and that way my grandfather could name it and everything.

I'd give Boston Terrier Rescue a call to see if you can find a dog who fits what he's looking for:

I actually know someone personally nearby who is reputable. I don't know if New England is an option for you but I'm sure she could put you in touch with someone near where you are if it is not.

Well thats really far. But does she happen to have a website or anything I can check out. and if he isnt fully ready yet it still would be nice if she knows anyone closer for when the time is here and to check out her page if she has one!!!
