Help posting pics please

ok so i can upload pics and they come up as thumbnails ...... but how do i get them to appear as larger pics as in the pic competition do.

After you've posted a pic in your gallery ... click the button that says "copy to clipboard" next to the UBBCode. Then, come to a thread, open a new post & hold down the "CONTROL" key & hit the "v" key ... it will paste the info from your clipboard into your post.

It will still look like code (you can "go advanced" to preview your post to check it) in your post; however, once posted, it will show up as a pic.

Ok let's try it with this picture from your gallery.

If you go to the page where it is
http://www.dogforum.org/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/2519/cat/500/ppuser/3030/sl/s
you see something like what is in the thumbnail. Copy the text that is in the little box where the yellow arrow is. It looks something like this
[ img] http://www.dogforum.org/gallery/data/500/medium/Image_148_2.jpg[/img ]
Paste it into your post and the image should appear.

ok now i feel really stupid.............. skukstripe ..im still not getting the paste thing
i click on the url for copy... but when i try and paste im still getting the box that says back
bookmark
etc

also i cannot see any yellow arrow but i do see where the url is that im supposed to copy
and KATZ it doesn`t give an option to copy to clipboard :(
I know im probably being really stupid and im so sorry maybe my putor is that old its almost an abacus

One thing I might have forgotten...do you have two browser windows open at the same time?

The yellow arrow is not normally there, I put it on the screenshot so you can see what you are supposed to copy and paste. It is the text in the box that starts with and ends with

You have to copy what is in that little box and paste it into your post.
So you either have to have two browsers open at the same time (one of your gallery and the other with the post you are writing)

OR

you have to copy the text from the box and paste it somewhere temporary (like your clipboard, but you can also use notepad or even Word) and then paste the text into your post.

OK here is some more.....

see that yellow arrow in the screenshot? There is a button that says "copy to clipboard". That button can be on the right or on the left, it depends on your screensize. Once you find it, click on it.
Then go back to your post. You can "right click" you mouse and you should get a little popup that will let you "paste" the text in your post.
