I was in the petshop today to get Max some treats, but although there were loads of treats for dogs, only one was specifically for puppies. And I didnt like the ingredients in that one, so ended up getting nothing until I was sure about what I can and what I cant feed Max.
Max is a bit hyperactive so I dont want to give him anything with too much preservatives in which can make him worse. There were healthier options but these didnt say anything about feeding them to puppies.
So basically, is it ok to feed him any treats or does it have to say for puppies?

I don't buy my puppy "puppy" treats. He gets the same treats as my adult dog. Afterall, they are just treats. I think that the whole "puppy treat" thing is just a ploy to make more money lol...
Have you seen the Charlie Bear treats? Those make excellent training treats. As for biscuits, I buy the "Waggers" ones from the grocery store. Probably the only treats in the grocery store that don't have icky ingredients lmao... They are perfect for stuffing into a Kong as well.

I didnt think that it really makes any difference. I remember when I was growing up we fed our adult dobermann and our puppy mini sausage dog the same food! And they both turned out great!
I do feed my pup on a complete puppy food though.

hi lassie, could i please have that reciepe? Kook is a bit lively at times, i'm putting this down to the treats. Changed his complete to JWB after seeking advice on here, but still treating him on 1/3rd of a bonio. Read the ingredients the other day, not the best! thanks, Ben.:)

I have found one treat that is suitable for Max, and he isnt that keen on it. The others isnt suitable for him until he is 3 or 4 months old. But I sent off for some JWB samples, and have been using the puppy one for treats and he loves it! They are really tiny too so perfect for training. :)
