We want to buy Max a long retractable lead. They seem quite good and almost everyone seem to have one!
We want to get one that will hopefully last until he is fully grown.
We've seen one in the pet shop which extends to 5m and is for dogs up to 50kg for about £15. Is this reasonable? Is there anywhere on the internet where you can buy them cheaper?

I bought a cheap one once and Zircon bit through the line. The spring promptly recoiled the entire line into the plastic housing and there we were with no leash and the rest of it dangling from his collar.
This is my way of saying that buying a cheao one may not be a good idea. DH bought me a good one for Christmas 2002 and it still works fine.

I might try PAH. Im going there in the week for more food anyway.
Will have a look on that website. I dont want a cheap brand as I want it to last, just wasnt sure what they were going for.
