Dog anxiety at other people's homes

My 5 1/2 month old puppy has a problem being crated at other people's homes. We crate him during the week at our home and he is perfectly fine. If we visit another person's home and crate him for a few hours he freaks out, throws up and poops in his crate. This weekend I left him at my sisters for 2 1/2 hours and when we came home the inside of his crate looked like the exorcist... I'm not sure what we should do about this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the little guy is nervous.

When I brought Zircon home from the shelter I thought he would be delighted. He puked twice on the way. Then I realized to him, the shelter WAS home.

Any chance you can start with shorter times until your doggy understands that nothing bad is going to happen?

This is probably because he is scared you won't come back.
Try leaving him for just a few mins. to start with and go back
and slowly build it up, he will soon get to know that no matter
whare you are you will not be gone for long. Just be patient with
him, he is still very young.
