very true but i lease goats and show them at the fair.. i cant imagen eating one of my goats..even though one of my goats are a market ( use for meat). i also show a dairy goat but she does have any milk yet cause shes to little..they are just so cute and are always doing something!

A lot of people show pigs and steers, and unfortunately they get sold to be made into bacon and burgers...

My sis showed a pig once, and she is 11 years older than me so I was maybe 5 or so when she did...and I named him Prancer...and I was soo sad when he had to go become bacon :(

I have ate goat... As a matter of fact it was one that i had NAMED! befor i ate it of corse..... I dont see anything wrong with eating different meets(cows,pigs,GOAT. ect..) I have ate chicken, pig, cow, goats, deer, moose, turky.... all sorts of different things,.....

for me after going to so many farm and seeing all those cute farm animals i want to be a vegintainen ( sp?) its so sad!!!! lately i dont want to eat cows,turkey etc..i also think that drinking milk is kind sad too..i mean gross ( do you where it comes from !!! ) or any kind of dairy in fact

Oddly enough I've never had lamb lmao! I'm sure it's similar though.
Yep! Ox is like beef. It's funny, some Jamaican restaurants will sometimes not have ox available, so they put in beef instead. A lot of ppl would never be able to tell the difference, but my mom being from Jamaica KNOWS. She gets so mad when they do that lol.
Anyways, I highly recommend everyone to try goat and/or oxtail. It is seriously delicious!

Well if I had a goat as a pet it's not like I'd only see it as food, or ever consider eating it. A pet is a pet no matter what animal it is, to me. When I see goats anywhere, I don't see them as food either. But in a restaurant and such, I will have goat because it's on the menu as food :)

I dont go out and look at my PET goats and say " yumm you will make good steak!" I think of them as the PET they are... But i understand that some people out htere eat goat and i dont care... I mena there are alot of ppl out there who dont eat cow nad whne they see us eating it they think its ok as long as they dont have to eat it! ;)
