I'm curious, due to in Sweden most pits/staffs goes aggressive, either from start or with age, they go grumpy and that grumpyness easy turns into a really bad bite or two. I've noticed here in the states though and in england that at least the young dogs usually get very well along with other dogs, males as well as females. Max was one of them... despite being fresh altered but the average temperament on a lot of the terriers I've meet here (two more last night on our evening walk) have been very calm and none aggressive. Altered dogs though..

How many have had male/female terrier, altered that has worked their WHOLE life with other dogs without a fight? TAKE NOT: I AM NOT talking about 2-5 years, I wanna hear about terriers being 10+ or like 8+ and then died out of age and never made a fuss. Also write WICH terrier.. amstaff, eng staff, pit, mix, whatever..

This is me being curious of how big effect the altering IS having,

My former roommate's American Staffordshire Terrier. We lived together for almost 3 years & his dog was completely non-aggressive his entire life. I believe he died at 7 years old.

My sister had a red staff and he died at 12 and he was non aggresive through out his whole life, aggression would of seemed like hard work to him i think.

Edited to add that he was also whole

My staffy is going to be 8 in Oct. And has been around dogs the whole time I have had him. He is VERY tolerable of other dogs. He used to go to doggy daycare.. and we called him the Puppy Daddy in the group. We could put him with ANY puppy, and he would teach the puppy how to be in the pack. He would ignore any of them.. But if they did something wrong.. He put them in there place, and then left. *Never fought with them, just I guess you could say Scold them.* He isn't passed away, But I figured I would put in mine. :-D I don't even wanna think of that time!
