I like this thread! I definitely need to get some ideas.

I am not a very good cook, but I like making steaks and BBQ chicken on the grill.

and I make spaghetti a lot, but it is just hamburger meat, and prego traditional sauce.

I am limited to the things I can cook. I can't cook meat at all except breaded pork chops, otherwise, after seeing it raw I can't eat it. :sicksmiley:

Here's one of my favorite dishes....

Swiss Vegetable Medley
1 bag of frozen broccholi, carrots, & cauliflower
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 container of sour cream
1 can of french fried onions
1/2 pound of swiss cheese

Simmer vegetables in a pan until they are slightly tender but not fully cooked.
In a large bowl mix the soup, sour cream and 1/2 the can of french fried onions together. Dump the veggies in and mix together. Pour into a baking pan and place cheese slices over the top covering the vegetables. Sprinkle the remaining french fried onion over the cheese. Cover with tin foil and back on 350 degress for about 45 minutes. Its yummy!! :p

I do not have it right in front of me but I have a homemade lasagna recipe that is fantastic.

Also for a wonderful ground beef roll wrapped in pastry. You make it with ground beef, mushroom soup, onions, green peppers and wrap it in pastry. Once cooked you top with mushroom gravy :):)

Also, and I have to get this from my Mom, a recipe for the best coconut cookies I have ever had. My husband and I get spoiled every once in awhile when she bakes us some :)

I love recipe threads. After 20 years of cooking for hubby, and at least 18 years of cooking for kids.....I run out of ideas.
Lets see....for something different......I like to split open a pork tenderloin and put stuffing in it, roll it back up and do it in the oven. Any kind of stuffing will do, but my fav is: bread crumbs, sage, white pepper, salt, celery, onion and bacon.
Hmmmm....different potatoes.......you need a bag of those frozen hashbrowns, mix in a can of cream soup (any kind will do...I like cream of onion and mushroom) mix in some shredded cheddar and pop in the oven. Yum.
